The Sustainable Agriculture Foundation (Thailand) was established in 1998 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to transitioning Thailand’s agriculture towards sustainable agricultural system to improve a quality of life for small-scale farmers and communities, and to connect groups of people in society, both in urban and rural areas, to have a way of life that is beneficial to the environment.
The foundation’s core missions include knowledge development and innovation in sustainable agriculture, capacity building and learning for farmer groups, public education campaigns, and advocacy for public policies related to sustainable agricultural system, farmers’ rights, and food security for sustainable development.
Coordinating in cooperation, with agricultural organizations, academics, NGOs, and government agencies involved in sustainable agricultural development.
