Fundraising Lead
We are currently inviting like-minded high calibre member in the role of Fundraiser to complement our team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the ideal candidate will have a keen passion for long term sustainability and possesses a strong background in development, fundraising, and donor engagement to support ECF in expanding its funding base and fostering meaningful partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with existing and potential donors (corporate and individual), partners, and stakeholders to drive impact.
- Research, identify, develop and solicit new funding opportunities aligned with ECF’s mission and programmes.
- Oversee and manage full fundraising cycle from researching potential donors to closing funding agreement i.e. plan and execute fundraising strategies, prepare high-quality grant proposals, funding applications, reports, and presentations for donors.
- Collaborate with ECF executive members to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and project objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor communications, and funding agreements.
- Represent ECF in fundraising events, donor meetings, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in fundraising or business development.
- Proven track record in securing grants, sponsorships, and donor funding successfully.
- Strong networking skills and well-developed communication skills to build and upkeep relationships with funders.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crafting compelling proposals and reports. Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible, results-driven environment.
- Motivated to support a wide range of sustainability initiatives with non-profit organizations.
Compensations
- Negotiable commission-based structure, depending on experience and performance.

Remarks
- This is a 1-year contract role subject to renewable upon mutual discussion. Appointee will be based in home country
