Privacy Policy Statement

It is the policy of ECF to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the laws of Hong Kong SAR. We also strive to ensure compliance by our staff with reasonably strict standards of security and confidentiality. 

We respect your rights and will undertake our best efforts to reasonably safeguard information provided by website users (“User” or “Users”). ECF will record visits to our website without collecting any personal identifiable information of Users. Such general information is only collected to compile statistical reports on the usage of our websites or otherwise and/or to diagnose problems related to computer systems to help improve our website.

With the only exceptions that personal data may be collected when Users make requests for information via replies, and while the IP address of the computer used to visit our website may be recorded, we do not collect any personally identifiable information from any User while they browse our sites, and no personal data is collected. This information is used only for preparing general statistics on the usage of our websites.  Unless permitted by the Users or required by law, ECF will not disclose any Users’ personal data to any third parties without such Users’ prior consent.
